After a smooth transfer to your centrally located hotel, you’ll have time to settle in and refresh after your flight.

If your family feels up for it, take a gentle evening stroll along Nguyen Hue Walking Street. This wide, pedestrian-only avenue is ideal for children—no cars, lots of open space, and plenty of light shows and street performers to enjoy. Kids can chase bubbles, watch music performances, or admire the sparkling City Hall in the distance. 

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide for a fun and flexible city tour designed especially with families in mind. Start at the Reunification Palace, where your guide will share kid-friendly stories about Vietnam’s history while exploring underground bunkers and control rooms that feel like something out of a spy movie.

Next, head to the charming Central Post Office, where you can send a postcard back home, and admire the beautiful architecture and vintage maps. Just across the street is the elegant Notre-Dame Cathedral, a lovely spot for family photos.

Today you'll travel just outside the city to visit one of Vietnam’s most famous historical sites: the Cu Chi Tunnels. Don’t worry—your guide will make it fun and engaging for kids too!

The journey takes about 1.5 hours, and along the way, your guide will share stories about how the tunnels were used during wartime and what daily life was like underground. Once at the site, you’ll explore widened sections of the tunnels that are safe and not too narrow—many children love the adventure of walking through them! See hidden entrances, learn how food was cooked without smoke, and even peek into clever trapdoor systems.

After a local lunch, you’ll head back to the city. The afternoon is free to rest or enjoy hotel time. 

After breakfast, set off on a memorable day trip to the lush and peaceful Ben Tre province in the Mekong Delta. This is where the mighty Mekong River splits into many smaller rivers and canals, creating a beautiful green maze of waterways.

Your family will hop aboard a private boat and cruise past coconut palms and stilt houses. Stop at a local workshop where you’ll see how coconut candy is made—yes, there are samples! You’ll also get to try freshly picked tropical fruits and take a gentle tuk-tuk ride or short bike ride through the quiet village paths. It’s a great way for kids to see how Vietnamese families live in the countryside.

Lunch is served in a peaceful garden setting with dishes made from fresh local ingredients. You may spot butterflies or even try cooking a rice pancake yourself! In the afternoon, enjoy one last boat ride before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City. This is a slower, more scenic day that allows everyone to breathe and connect with nature.

Time to swap city streets for sandy shores! After breakfast, your driver will take you to the airport for a short and scenic flight to Phu Quoc Island, known for its stunning beaches and relaxed island vibe.

Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up and taken to a lovely beachside resort perfect for families. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy—build sandcastles, dip your toes in the warm sea, or explore your resort’s pool and kid-friendly amenities. The sunsets on Phu Quoc are incredible, so grab a spot on the beach together and watch the sky turn magical colors. Dinner by the sea is a great way to end the day.

After breakfast, get ready for an exciting day on the water. Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the pier, where a comfortable speedboat awaits. Make sure to bring sunscreen, swimsuits, and a sense of adventure — this day is all about island-hopping fun!

Your first stop is Fingernail Island, a postcard-perfect island with powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. It’s a fantastic spot for families to swim, snorkel close to the shore, or simply relax under the palm trees while kids build sandcastles or collect seashells.

Next, head to Gam Ghi Island, known for its colorful coral reefs. This is a great place for snorkeling — even younger children can enjoy floating with a life vest while peeking down at tropical fish. The tour provides snorkels and masks, and friendly guides help make it easy and safe for families to join in.

After working up an appetite, cruise to May Rut Island for a delicious lunch served beachside, featuring fresh seafood and Vietnamese dishes (vegetarian and child-friendly options available too). After lunch, enjoy free time to lounge in a hammock, take photos, or play beach games with your kids. May Rut Island is also a fantastic place to take family pictures with swings, palm-lined paths, and crystal-blue water as the backdrop.

On the way back, if weather permits, you may also stop by the scenic Buom Island or an additional snorkeling spot for one last dip in the sea.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon with sun-kissed smiles, sandy toes, and plenty of memories. The rest of the evening is free for you to relax. You might want to enjoy a sunset walk along the beach or a casual family dinner by the sea.

Enjoy your final morning in paradise. Depending on your flight time, you might squeeze in a last swim or a beach walk to collect some seashells. After check-out, your driver will take you to Phu Quoc Airport for your return flight to Ho Chi Minh City or your onward flight home.
