Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, your private driver will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. After settling in, take some time to unwind after your long-haul flight. If time permits, you may enjoy a leisurely walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple. 

This morning, your guide will meet you at your hotel to begin a fascinating journey through Hanoi’s cultural and historical landmarks. Start at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, where you'll see the leader’s preserved resting place, his stilt house, and the One Pillar Pagoda. We then visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, steeped in Confucian history. After lunch at a local eatery (on your account), you’ll hop on a cyclo for an immersive ride through the maze-like streets of the Old Quarter. Later, explore the Museum of Ethnology, which offers insight into Vietnam’s diverse ethnic communities. In the evening, enjoy a traditional water puppet show – a unique art form born from Vietnam’s rural villages.

After breakfast, your driver will take you through the Red River Delta to the legendary Halong Bay. Upon arrival at the pier, we’ll assist with check-in for your overnight cruise. As the ship sets sail, you’ll be mesmerised by thousands of limestone karsts rising from emerald waters. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board as we cruise to explore Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave. Later, choose between kayaking or a bamboo boat ride through Luon Cave. Wake early to admire Halong Bay’s morning serenity or join a Tai Chi session on deck. After a light breakfast, you’ll visit Titop Island for swimming or panoramic views. Enjoy brunch as the cruise returns to port, then meet your driver for the journey back to Hanoi Airport. A short flight brings you to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital. Today, your local guide will lead you through Hue’s imperial past. Begin with the vast Citadel complex and step through the grand Ngo Mon Gate to explore the Forbidden Purple City. Next, visit Thien Mu Pagoda, a riverside spiritual icon. We’ll board a dragon boat and cruise along the Perfume River toward the tombs of Emperor Minh Mang or Khai Dinh – remarkable for their intricate architecture. After lunch (on your account), you’ll visit the bustling Dong Ba Market, where locals trade spices, produce, and street snacks. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.

After breakfast, your driver will take you southward along the dramatic Hai Van Pass, offering spectacular views of the coastline. We’ll pause for photo stops at Lang Co Beach and make a visit to the Marble Mountains in Danang, where you’ll explore caves, pagodas, and scenic viewpoints. Arriving in Hoi An, you’ll check into your hotel before joining your guide for a walking tour of the lantern-lit Old Town. Discover the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Ancient House, and Chinese Assembly Halls as you wander through this UNESCO-listed riverside town.

This morning, a local chef will take you to a traditional market to learn about Vietnamese ingredients. Then, board a boat and cruise down the Thu Bon River to a countryside cooking school. You’ll prepare (and enjoy) classic dishes such as spring rolls, savoury pancakes, or claypot fish. In the afternoon, your driver and guide will take you to the My Son Sanctuary, the ancient religious capital of the Champa Kingdom. Explore this UNESCO site’s mystical red-brick ruins nestled in a lush valley before returning to Hoi An for a relaxing evening.

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s buzzing southern metropolis. Upon arrival, your driver and guide will greet you and begin a city tour. Explore French-colonial landmarks including the Central Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral (currently under restoration), and the grand Opera House. Then visit the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum for a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s modern history. After checking in to your hotel, enjoy the evening at your own pace or explore the vibrant street food scene.

This morning, your guide will accompany you to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a wartime hideout used by the Viet Cong. Crawl through parts of the tunnel system and see the ingenious booby traps and underground living quarters. Afterwards, we’ll head into the Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s fertile rice bowl. Cruise along the canals of My Tho, visit coconut processing workshops, and meet local artisans. You’ll enjoy a homemade lunch at a local family home and a peaceful sampan ride beneath coconut palms before returning to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.

After breakfast, take a final stroll around your hotel or pick up some last-minute souvenirs. At the designated time, your driver will transfer you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your flight home.
